This tour takes you to Cachoeira, the city that was one of the most economical important cities in the colonization time and for Brazilian liberty. It's located in the Recôncavo, a region about 1,5 hours drive from Salvador. The Recôncavo is the best Brazilian tobacco-growing region, ther we’ll visit the Danemman’s, the most important cigars industry in Bahia. Cachoeira is also an important center of Candomblé and the birthplace of Samba de Roda, a very beautiful cultural manifestation. Beautiful colonial architecture, colorful markets and exciting woodcarvings.

Program
08:00 - Pick up at the hotel.
09:30 - Arrival at Cachoeira. City tour by walking. Enjoying the architecture, visiting churches, wood carving galleries and cigar factories at the other side of the Paraguaçu River.
12:30 - Lunch at a typical restaurant. After lunch we will have some free time (to buy souvenirs, visit galleries or just to get to know the city).
17:00 - Return to Salvador and to your hotel.
